Matthew Smith

Matthew J. Smith,  is the Managing Partner and Senior HR & Talent Acquisition Consultant at Elite Global Resources, LLC.

Matthew formed the company in 2018 to meet the diverse marketplace’s dire need for a more consultative, and people first approach to helping both clients and candidates.

He has developed many long-term relationships that extend globally and nationwide for a mix of clients from Fortune 500 to smaller boutique and start up firms.

Mr. Smith strives to provide extensive, successful experience in building high-performing HR & recruiting teams in  complex global business environments.

Prior to founding EGR, Matthew had spent  many years in HR, Talent Acquisition and M&A verticals.

While working at Chubb & Son Insurance company, one of the top property and casualty insurance companies in the world. Matthew has received numerous awards including: HR awards,  “Talent Acquisition Manager of the Year” – 6 times, “IT Executive Recruiter of the Year” – 6 times and “Presidents Club - TOP GUN” – for an unprecedented 10 years consecutively.

While at ITS, (a leading provider of Global Human Capital Solutions and Mergers & Acquisitions in technology, information services and staffing resources for FORTUNE 100/500 organizations), He served as proactive, M & A - Global HR and Talent Acquisition leader and key point-of-contact for a multi-discipline delivery team. Managed M&A's  and oversaw the Staffing Resource Management Group (SRMG).

In addition, Matthew worked at Verrex Corporation (global AV conferencing and communications organization founded in 1947. Seven decades of expertise in global conferencing, staffing, global managed services, and training, with locations in North America, Europe, and Asia).

At Verrex, he was Vice President of Global HR and Talent Acquisition. He worked directly with the CEO and was responsible for all HR domestic and global HR functions and growth initiatives in over 40 countries and 35 locations. 

Matthew finds a strong calling to give back.  led a variety of volunteer leadership functions (Recruitment and Retention) for many non-profit associations including Saint Jude’s Hospice, Wounded Warrior Project, and others for over 25 years.   

Cathleen Waters, MCA

Cathleen Waters is the Principal Global Managing Partner at EGR.

Cathleen's successful background is building high-performing global  teams and operationalizing complex business environments.

Ms. Waters's experience ranges from building a start-up domestic/international assignments to working with large to small companies on specific high priority business human capital and real estate  transactions.

Areas of focus have been optimizing and innovating the talent acquisition function while creating deep recruitment strategies to build strong and diverse organizations and a relentless pursuit of satisfaction for all customers.

Outside of work, Cathy enjoys trying and experiencing new things. Her passion is travel and getting to know cultures from around the globe. Cathy also loves architectural design, the fine arts, classical music, nature and enjoys spending time outdoors and taking hikes.

Thomas DePaul, EMEA

Thomas is a Senior Talent Acquisition and Recruiting Consultant at EGR, EMEA.

For over two decades, Thomas has engaged firms and companies in identifying and recruiting top-level professionals from Fortune 500 companies to mid-sized organizations. Prior to joining EGR, Thomas had both large international recruiting agency and in-house corporate recruiting experience. He was recognized as one of the top recruiters worldwide from multiple companies over his successful career in recruiting.

Thomas has assisted and placed thousands of professionals in permanent, direct-hire positions throughout the United States and Europe. He brings an extensive knowledge of DEI recruiting, training and leadership to EGR. While now mainly focused now in the IT and Unified Communications vertical.

Thomas earned his MBA from NYU Stern, and his B.A. in Accounting from Universite PSL (Paris Sciences & Lettres) in Paris, France.

In his spare time, you will most likely find Thomas and his wife out on the trails with their two children or cycling or playing Sudoku puzzles in the Greater-Chicago area. 

Ashley O'Brien Sinclair

Ashley is a Director of Talent Acquisition and Human Capital Consultant at EGR.

Ashley has an incredible track record of experience and success partnering with a wide range of clients from Fortune 500 to small PE-backed portfolio companies. 

Previously, Ashley was a Co-Founder of a small California boutique search firm, supporting companies in attracting and retaining top talent. The company operated as two distinct platforms: a recruitment branch finding top talent for clients’ operations, IT, procurement and management positions, and a consulting vertical focusing on organizational culture.

Prior to her career in executive search, Ashley worked for Accenture LLP in their management consulting practice, where she worked in supply chain and procurement transformation projects for companies in the CPG, retail, industrial, financial services, and technology industries.

Alison earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business from UCLA.

When Ashley is not working, you will find her raising her two girls, working with her favorite charities, oil painting outdoor scenery or going to her favorite NFL team the Los Angeles Rams, when they are playing in town with her husband. 

Robert Rettig M.MATH

Senior Business Sales Advisor at EGR.

Robert is a Senior Business Advisor with over 30 years of involvement in both the corporate and small business world with experience in building, running and selling domestic and international organizations. Prior to EGR , Mr. Rettig held leadership positions for several major global corporations, all of which were leaders in their industry segments, where he launched a number of successful enterprises as well as starting several private ventures himself.

Robert has experience in defining business, marketing and sales strategy; mergers & acquisitions, operations; overseeing marketing and partner programs and operations; P&L responsibility; building and leading effective teams; as well as structuring deals and selling businesses.

In his spare time, Robert enjoys his time with family and friends, fishing, reading, and attending baseball games.

Leticia is a Career Services and Coaching Manager at EGR

Leticia is a Career Services and Coaching Manager with over 20 years of experience in coaching and identifying  both job and career advancement opportunities for clients  based on their needs, objectives, and skill sets. Leticia assists clients in identifying and enhancing their job skills, suggest improvements to clients' resumes, and ensure that clients are adequately prepared for job interviews.

Outside of work,  Leticia is passionate to assist those in need with all forms of disabilities. She works with all types of charities and has invested much time with ARC. 

Andrew C. Smith

Andrew is an Office Administrative Assistant at EGR.

Andrew supports a team of seven executives with all designated administrative tasks needed to perform their job with a high degree of accuracy and timely execution. Andrew is currently attending University of Pittsburgh (main campus). He is in the process of obtaining a BS in Finance and Accounting. Honors & Awards: Pitt Business Dean’s List: Fall 2021, Spring 2022, Fall 2022. In his spare time, you will most likely find Andrew playing many types of sports, too many to mention. In addition Andrew supports many charities and giving back to the community when he has available time.
